Andreas pattern!!!

I have to start this by saying a VERY huge thankyou to Andrea for sharing the pattern that she developed for this top!! It is amazing!! I am totally in love with it!! I suspect that Hannah is going to end up with a few of these tops!

This is last nights efforts. Got me in trouble with DH because he could not hear the TV over the machine... lol... but it was worth it.

It is actually a little short for Hannah, which I should have known would happen (she has it on, and there is a gap of about 8cms between the top of her pants and the bottom of the top). So I am thinking of making it again and then doing something else with this top.

I added the same ribbon/tag thing to it - I can not believe hpw much difference something so tiny makes to the finish!

I also made a pair of white pants out of a pillow case... they are a heavy cotton. I think this is about the 3rd pair of white pants I have made for her - and while I am sure that they are going to stain in no time, they will go with anything, and they are so easy to make that I can always just replace them... lol. I should really find another pattern for pants to use (like something that is not just an elastic waist all the way around), but these are so simple.

lol - I know. It is a bit sad!!

In my defence, when Hannah is sick I am not allowed to move around, because then she just wants to be picked up and gets quite upset, so I can either sew, watch TV or surf EB. Or all three at once...

Good chance to make Hannah some summer clothes though. :)

Oh yes I was thinking the same Cass, Sharon I think you are the most frequest sewer of us all at the moment!
I love the top, it looks gorgeous. I had the same problem with the length, I am actually not sure about Ellyse wearing hers as I think it shows off too much belly. I did add to it but not enough! Well done on not needing my step by step instructions LOL!

lol - I was too impatient to wait to get them!

I did have a little trouble with the top seam (around the neck) but I just made it quite narrow, and it worked alright.

I love those tops! I always seem to have problems with sleeves, but maybe I should try again. Well done Sharon!
